Our Lodge

This remarkable lodge was built by a local family in 1943. It is exactly what you think a lodge should look like. It’s rustic, cozy and there’s not a level board in the place … but that only adds to its charm.

This is like something out of an old movie. The sheepherders move their sheep into the mountains like an old cattle drive, right through The Cove several times a year. If you happen to be there during this time - it will literally make you as giddy as a schoolgirl. Old and young share the excitement of the adventure.
