These strange rock formations became the first National Monument in Colorado History. There is a 7 mile hike in, or a 14 mile 4x4 trail, either way your skills will be put to the test.
Creede Mining Museum
This underground museum is entertaining for the whole family. Experience what the miners experienced during the silver boom, and go underground to see how they mined. Take a jacket, it gets cold!
Summer Hours 10-5
This 1 mile hike takes you the top of the Creede Pinnacles. It's a short hike, but you gain 900 feet in elevation and it is quite steep.
Explore miles of old mines and beautiful country. This loop is 17 miles, and a 4x4 is recommended. You'll be amazed at what was built during the silver boom that put Creede on the map.
North Clear Creek Falls
Want a beautiful waterfall view but aren't much for hiking? This massive 100+ foot waterfall is 27 miles Northwest of Creede, and you drive right to the viewing area.
Creede Repertory Theatre
This professional theatre was established in 1966 and has been a favorite attraction across the country ever since. Hailed as "legendary" by the Denver Post, you will want to get your ticket far in advance, as they are typically sold out shows.
Ready for the best view around? It takes work to get to, but it's definitely worth it! This hike is 3.6 miles, and you gain 2233 feet, putting you at 11,042 feet at the top. Don't worry, we sell oxygen in the gift shop!
